    This detailed map covers the village of Tong, just south of Pudsey.

    Features include Tong Hall, Raikes Hall (at western edge of map), Ryecroft, Charles Pit, Lousy Wood, Scholebrook, mineral tramway, Alexandra Incline, Tong village, St James church etc. Directories of Tong for 1889 and 1903 are included on the reverse.


    The map links up with sheet 217.06 Pudsey to the north, 217.11 Farnley Moor Top to the west and 217.14 Drighlington to the south.
