    This is one of two maps being published to cover Loftus, a town that developed on alum and later iron ore mining. It covers the western half of Loftus, including Liverton Mines, with coverage extending northward to the Loftus Mines and westward to Kilton Hall.

    Features include railway with Loftus station, Skinningrove station, Skinningrove Zig Zag line, Loftus Mines, Deepdale Wood, Carlin How Mines, Kilton Mill, Liverton Terrace, St Hilda's church, part of Carlin How, West Road and part of High Street, Zetland Foundry, Loftus Mill, Cowscote Hall, picture theatre etc. A 1905 directory of Loftus is included on the reverse together with a specially written history of the area.
