    The many features include Strood town centre with individual buildings neatly shown, St Nicholas church, Poor Law Institution, Frindsbury Intra, Rochester Bridge, railways with Strood Junction station, engine shed, Oil & Seed Mills, Invicta Engineering Works, Broom Hill, Temple Gardens, St Mary's church, Rochester Pier, Acorn Wharf etc.

    The map links up with sheet 19.03 Chatham Dockyard to the east and 19.06 Rochester West to the south.
