    This busy and detailed map covers the centre of Swansea, with coverage stretching from Argyle Street eastward to Farm Lane and Prince of Wales Dock, and from High Street and Prince of Wales Road southward to South Dock.

    Features include town centre with individual buildings neatly shown, River Tawe, New Cut, North Dock, part of South Dock, much of Prince of Wales Dock, tramways, High Street station, Victoria station, St Thomas's station, Swansea & Mumbles Railway, many railways sidings and wharves, Vetch Field, gasworks, Maesteg House, Tir-gwl, The Island, Pentre-Guinea, Pottery Bridge, Mount Pleasant, many streets of terraces etc. On the reverse we include extracts from a 1906 street directory, for High Street, Strand and Wind Street.


    The map links up with sheet 24.01 Swansea North to the north and 23.08 Swansea West to the west.
