    This detailed map covers the western part of Dalkeith, with coverage extending from Eskbank Road and the New Cemetery westward to Melville Castle. Features include Elginhaugh, Sheriffhall, Melville Castle, Glenesk Colliery, Poorhouse, North British Railway with station, Glenesk Junction, St David's RC church, Ironmill, Public Park, Lugton. On the reverse we include the Dalkeith directory, entries K-Y.

    The map links up with Edinburgh Sheet 8.07 Dalkeith East to the east and 8.10 Bonnyrigg to the south.
