    We have published two versions of this map, showing how the area changed across the years. Perth itself is coloured on the 1864 version, taken from the OS 1st Edition handcoloured map.

    The maps cover most of Perth, with coverage extending from the Wallace Works and Balhousie St southward to Abbot St, and from Viewlands Rd eastward to Dundee Rd.

    Features include town centre with individual buildings neatly shown, River Tay, Perth Bridge, railway with station, Princes St station, Bridgend, tramways, Barracks, Wellshill Cemetery, Auction Marts, Dovecot Land, Poorhouse, St Stephen's church, Fechney Industrial School, City Hall, County Infirmary, hotels, churches, and much more. We also include extracts from a 1900 street directory.
