London Subscription

Maps of London & Middlesex

  • We have offered a London Subscription since the 1980s and this has helped us develop the series into the huge selection of London and Middlesex maps we have today, plus several Surrey, Kent and Essex maps that cover areas now in Greater London. Some of those who have subscribed from the 1980s and 90s have built up large collections of our maps in this way.
  • We continue this tradition with a further subscription, for 10 new maps for London commencing with new titles to be published in January 2025. This subscription costs £ 30.00 for ten maps, postage free, a substantial saving on the normal price, and there is an Earlybird offer of £ 25.00 for those ordering by 1st November.
  • Though full details of the group are still to be decided, all ten are expected to be taken from the early Five foot or 1:1056 plans, published in the early 1870s, which we reduce in scale to 1:1760 or a Yard to the Mile. Each map also includes a later edition of the map on the reverse, together with an introduction to the history of the area. The first two maps are expected to be for Chalk Farm and Edgeware Road.
  • Note that this subscription is essentially for the new maps, not those already available or published. For those maps for the area already published, visit the relevant London page.

    The first maps in this subscription are due in early January 2025. Although no firm timetable can be given, we intend to publish all ten maps within the first half of 2025.
