We have published a pair of maps for Clacton on Sea. These link up with each other to give excellent coverage of the town.
The Clacton North map covers the area from the railway station and High Street northward to Great Clacton, where St John's church is at the top of the map. Other features include railway with station, Sodbury House, Smoaky House, Middlesex Hospital Convalescent Home, Clay Hall, Essex Convalescent Home, Magdalen Green, John Groom's Crippleage, Bullhill Farm, Warwick Castle Hotel, etc.
The Clacton South map covers the southern part of the town, including the sea front. Features here include the Pier, Grand Hotel, Royal Hotel, Palace Theatre, two Martello Towers, St James church, Altonpark (at west edge of map), Clacton Jetty, etc.
The two maps include extracts from a 1922 directory of Clacton.
