Bournemouth & South Dorset Subscription

Ten new maps for Bournemouth & South Dorset to be published in 2026

  • We plan to issue ten new maps for Bournemouth and south Dorset. Publication will commence with two maps for Bournemouth in June 2026 and the ten will all be published by the end of the year.
  • The Bournemouth-Poole conurbation has been noted as the 16th largest populated urban area in the country, just below Brighton & Hove, just ahead of Cardiff. However, it is many years since we have published any new titles for the area. We are therefore publishing ten new maps here, including four 1908 maps for Bournemouth itself, each with an introduction by Tony Painter, and other maps to the west and east, in an area bordered by Wareham and Christchurch. Several maps will be for areas not previously covered in the series and each will include a specially written introduction.
  • Subscriptions give an excellent discount, and also support us in our mission to cover as many towns and villages as possible. Each map includes a specially written introduction. Maps are normally sent to subscribers, postage free, a few days before publication. A subscription costs just £ 33 for the ten new maps, and there is an Earlybird offer of £ 30, a substantial saving on the normal price.

    The first maps in this subscription are due in late June 2026. Although no firm timetable can be given, we intend to publish all ten maps by the end of 2026.
